Mitt Wrongly

Hello and Welcome to Mitt Wrongly.  Now that we’ve got the one, nice thing to say out of the way, let’s talk about Mitt Romney!

Mitt Wrongly and repeatedly accuses Democrats and Liberals of allying, if not actually supporting, terrorists.
Mitt Wrongly speaks for the American dream, not recognizing the fundamentals of why it is all too often out of the reach of too many Americans.
Mitt Wrongly thinks he can flip-flop on issues like Abortion depending upon whichever way the political winds blow . . . for him.
Mitt Wrongly and constantly warmongers, the latest his saying Iran is the biggest threat to the world “since the fall of Soviet Union, and before that, Nazi Germany”.  (Um, how about the crazy guy in North Korea who keeps testing long-range ballistic missiles and actually blows up atomic bombs?!?)

Mitt Romney is a true schister that will say anything, do anything to get what he wants.  If you don’t believe me, just Google what other people have to say about him . . or . .

. . You can join me here in documenting all of Mitt Romney’s transgressions — If you have something to say, want to write a ‘Mitt Wrongly…’ statement of your own, or have an idea or suspicion worth investigating, share it!

Our first hope is that Mitt Romney abandons all hope of running for office ever again, but should he decide to run for President (or any other office), we want to be ready to show just what kind of candidate he is.

Ditto on demonizing Iran. Unlike N. Korea, there are pro-democracy elements looking for expresssion-we should use diplomacy to encourage the ruling elite to bring them into the picture-calling Iran some kind of evil terror threatens hard liners and will cause them to grip on to power even more.

Mitt doesn’t comprehend or acknowledge the challenges all of us “average” americans face – he has a history of noncommunication with the state delegate. he should not be in any political office. he operates intent on his own personal and/or business relationship gain.

    I love Mitt Romney!

MittWrongly: Um, you do realize this is a fact-based, anti-Mitt Romney site, don’t you??

  • Mitt Romney is far too qualified for Presidential Office. He has had way to much success reviving business, saving jobs, and salvaging the 2002 Olympic games. We definitely don’t want an economic genius in office because our economy is already really stable. His intellect and experience would be hurtful to the country, for sure.

MittWrongly: Funny, he’s such a strong and intelligent candidate that he couldn’t beat out John McCain for the nomination, or even Sarah Palin for the VP slot. Yeah, a real winner you’ve got there!

Oh, and I think ‘news to everyone’ that the 2002 Olympics needed any salvaging. Yes, it was after 9-11 — and to that point and the fact there were abuses and mismanagement — everything was thrown toward making it both successful and secure. Nice attempt to rewrite history, though!

  • Mitt Wrongly accuses President Obama of dereliction in the President’s effort to try and formulate a strategy for Afghanistan that will hopefully overcome the seven years of mismanagement by the Bush Administration.

This during his speech to the Young America’s Foundation on or about November 13, 2009. To quote Mitt Romney . . .

“The president’s inattention and dereliction have reminded me of the Northwest Airline pilots who became so distracted with things of little importance that they lost their way, which is exactly what this president has done in Afghanistan. In this case with greater consequence.”

    If you don’t believe it, here’s the video . . .

  • 202 Olympic Facts: In 1999, before Romney was hired, the event was running $379 million short of its revenue benchmarks. Plans were being made to scale back the games to compensate for the fiscal crisis. The Games were also damaged by allegations of bribery involving top officials, including then Salt Lake Olympic Committee (SLOC) President and CEO Frank Joklik. Joklik and SLOC vice president Dave Johnson were forced to resign.

On February 11, 1999, Romney was hired as the new president and CEO of the Salt Lake Organizing Committee. Romney revamped the organization’s leadership and policies, organized 23,000 volunteers, reduced budgets, and boosted fund raising. He also worked to ensure the safety of the Games following the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 by coordinating a $300 million security budget. Despite the initial fiscal shortfall, the Games ended up clearing a profit of $100 million, not counting the $224.5 million in security costs contributed by outside sources. Romney holds the record for most private money raised by any individual for the Winter Olympics.

Romney contributed $1 million to the Olympics, and donated the $825,000 salary he earned as President and CEO to charity. He wrote a book about his experience titled Turnaround: Crisis, Leadership, and the Olympic Games. Romney was widely praised for his successful efforts to turn around the 2002 Winter Olympics.

You’re right though, Romney is a straight-up idiot; he graduated from a prestigious joint Juris Doctor/Master of Business Administration program coordinated between Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School, and to top it off, he graduated cum laude from the law school and was named a Baker Scholar for graduating in the top five percent of his business school class. Seriously… way too much intellect for to effectively lead any organization.

MittWrongly: So he didn’t fail at something that was supposed to succeed in the first place?!? Wow, that’s a pretty amazing accomplishment! I guess he is wick’d smaat after all.

Next time the President of the United States is in charge of the Olympics — and to borrow a quote from a crazy woman’s reference to the estimable Republican National Committee Chair, Michael Steele — “You be da’ man!”

  • MittWrongly: It may be an important point to some that the above post was plagiarized from Wikipedia, word for word and without attribution, and is not an ‘original work’ by the person posting it (Aaronius).

  • Aaronius: It may be a pertinent point to some that the above comment by Aaronius isn’t an English essay, nor is it a publicized article on a major blog/website and nobody gives a rat’s ass if it is cited or not. Also, it may be crucial to note that the owner of this website (MittWrongly) cannot acknowledge the widely-known fact that Romney’s career in business was a HUGE success, his role in the corruption-ravaged 2002 Winter Games was also crucial in the salvaging effort of said games (believe me, I was there), and that his list of presidential credentials is a mile long!

Its one thing if you disagree with his views/stances on particular issues. You have that right. But you cannot dispute that this guy is better qualified, has more experience, and vastly more knowledgeable than any other candidate out there. Barrack Obama hasn’t even managed a lemonade stand – it would end up in a deficit if he tried.

MittWrongly: First off, this website only launched a week ago and yet you seem obsessed with it. It may be that the Truth hurts, but why don’t you stick to spouting off on your own website? Or are you seeing a sudden drop in traffic and have to come here where all the MittTraffic(TM) is?!?

On your attack of the President of the United States, let’s be clear, Barack Obama raised more money than any other Presidential candidate in history at $532,946,511 — and won. That far exceeds Mitt Romney’s performance vis-a-vis the Olympics, especially when viewed through the prism that everyone wants to see the Olympics succeed whereas typically only about a half of the Country is rooting for any one candidate. That’s quite a successful lemonade stand Barack Obama was able to run, huh!

Oh, and Romney’s career may have been a huge success, but only a HUGE success for him, not the regular people he shafted along the way to get it.

  • MittWrongly: Plagiarism is defined as the “use or close imitation of the language and thoughts of another author and the representation of them as one’s own original work.” Interestingly enough, that definition is provided by Wikipedia, the very source you lifted from, word-by-word, without attribution, which is exactly what makes what you, Aaronius, did plagiarism with regard to your November 24th comment.

  • Having a new job in the Obama economy (as opposed to loosing and not having one in the Bush economy) it’s been easy to ignore all the stupid, non-sensical things Mitt Romney constantly says, but two that he said at CPAC 2011 just recently really stand out (transcript link).

    First . . .

“President Barack Obama has stood watch over the greatest job loss in modern American history. And that, my friends, is one inconvenient truth that will haunt this President throughout history.”

Ok, I’m not sure what Mitt Romney is looking at, but in the last year of the Bush Presidency we lost 4+M jobs and things were getting much, much worse. Yes, we continued to lose jobs once President Obama took office, but the number of jobs lost has consistently improved ever since. I’m not sure what Mitt Romney is thinking, but his assertion is a bald-faced lie, he knows it, and he’s yet again proven himself to be the self-serving nincompoop that he is. Mitt Romney is yet again wrong for America.

Second is his very next line (and this one is really, really funny) . . .

“Today there are more men and women out of work in America than there are people working in Canada. And in the month of January, Canada created more new jobs than we did.”

So, Mitt, Canada with its universal healthcare is able to create more jobs than America?!? Guess healthcare’s a real job killer, isn’t it? Better yet, Mitt, with their Mittacusetts-styled healthcare-for-all they’re better at creating jobs than we are?!? Or is it they’re really supposed to suffocate under the cost of healthcare and be sinking down the toilet, well, because (and the numbers hide some sort of super economy just straining to break free north of the border)?!? My brain hurts trying to unwrap your illogic.

Mitt, you did actually try when you wrote this speech, didn’t you? Or do we have to ask whether you inhaled? A businessman that can ad and subtract like that . . . Whoa, look out George Bush, Mitt Romney is coming!
